What If My Designer Templates Are Turning Yellow Or Becoming Brittle?

Due to the nature of plastics and their chemical makeup, yellowing or cracking can occur over long periods of time, but there are some things to do to protect the Designer Templates and increase their life:

• Don’t store them in places where they will get direct sunlight. (The UV rays will cause the templates to yellow, warp, or get brittle and crack)
• Store them so that the plastic is completely covered. (Storage Sleeves from our shop, or large envelopes for the larger templates, binder sleeves, sealed box, etc. - Anything that will protect them from oxidation)
• If you do have some that have yellowed, some things to try to clean them are:
  • Magic Eraser
  • Vinegar
  • Baking soda/water
